Dr. Kelly Damphousse (DAM-fiss) became Texas State University’s 10th President on July 1, 2022.

To be able to build on the tremendous trajectory that President Trauth has established will be a great honor. My wife, Beth, and I are excited about returning home to Texas, and the opportunity to serve the faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of Texas State University.”

Kelly and Beth are eager to explore Texas State University campuses, connect with Bobcats far and wide, and explore their new community of San Marcos, Texas, where they will live near campus.
