Allow me to introduce Texas State University President Kelly Damphousse. [DAM-fiss]

Dr. Damphousse, who became president in July 2022, has been laser-focused on pursuing an ambitious vision for the university’s future. 

His top priorities are to enhance student success, raise the university’s national profile, and elevate the university’s research enterprise to become a top-tier, Carnegie-classified R1 institution. 

Texas State has made tremendous strides in bringing this bold vision to life – setting new records in enrollment, research growth, student success and retention, and athletics which is entering the Pac-12 in July.

Throughout this transformation, Dr. Damphousse is committed to keeping access to a Texas State degree and student success front and center.
